On tap at the Albany Pump Station last night - served in a snifter. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue. Half-inch of foamy, khaki head leaving some lacing. Smells of typical dark fruits - plum, raisin - nothing earth-shattering. Taste is phenomenal - alcohol is hidden well underneath a malty base. Dark fruits, rum cake, slight hints of sweet caramel. Some carbonation - perfect amount to linger on your tongue. Very smooth and easy to drink. CH Evans once again shows their skills in the Belgian brewing arena.
