12 ounce bottle purchased as part of a six pack for eight dollars from Liquor Barn in Redding, poured into my Stone pint glass
A-Mix between golden orange and light red, small 1/2 inch bubbly white head that went away quickly, not much retention, no lacing
S-Lots of caramel, bready malt aromas, grassy accents, mild hoppiness, lemon, and straw
T-Starts off with a mild hop flavor, then some biscuit malt in the middle, slight chewiness but mostly dry qualities in the finish, gets slightly sweeter as time goes by but dryness is still there thankfully, would have liked to see some citrus or more aggressive hops to make this one more unique and balanced
M-Watered down, dry and slightly sweet mouthfeel, needed more carbonation, thin to medium body, taste did not linger very long
D-Could drink a few bottles of this, ABV seems low and no alcohol is in the flavor, light on the stomach, smooth most of the way through
We were supposed to go to this brewery but something else came up, I had to settle for trying this beer, not bad overall, I am sure they have better offerings though, might drink again if I was up in the area but not the best amber I have had by any means, worth trying
