Pours a dark brown color, almost black, with a nice and tall cream colored head.
Aromas are nice. Some chocolate, cocoa, oats, and coffee. Mostly a pretty roasted malt forward nose.
Beer has a very roasted flavor. Kind of smoky, with a coffee and earthy flavor. They is a bit of a sugar sweetness, and a dry bitter bakers chocolate bite on the finish.
Mouthfeel is pretty good. Kind of heavy, but not bad at all, and with good carbonation.
Drinkability is not bad. All in all, a nice porter. Not great, but well worth trying. It is a little too strong and heavy to be a highly drinkable beer, but it's still quite tasty.
