Hazed orange with a pillowy white head that quietly folds in on itself leaving a nicely raised ring.
Clean citrusy and grassy hops, plenty of biscuity and sweet malts and a mild graininess. Lovely balance.
Starts with fruity hops supported by a light caramel sweetness. Apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, candied orange and some cut grass. Transitions into a a dry menthol bitterness that is rather assertive.
Owing to the menthol, herbal traits, the palate verges on harsh with some borderline metallic characteristics, but is still easy to drink.
Intelligently brewed Pale Ale that is quite subtle in some aspects. Will definitely seek again in summer.

No BB
Pours a cloudy copper, two finger coarse bubbled head, good spotty lace
Strong delightful aromas of kiwifruit, passionfruit, lychees and citrus. Top stuff.
Taste has a lot to live up to, and doesn't. Ends up dull citrus and quite astringent. Takes on a doughy helles lager note as it warms and this one was from a too cold fridge at the outset, so the helles taste came through all too early.
Moiuthfeel good, moderate carbonation, medium body.
If only the taste was as good as smell.
Cest la vie.

After the move i hope this brew is different to last time and before opening it states it is 5.1% so theres the first difference and it pours a hazy light copper hue with a creamy three finger head and lacing everywhere, the smell is quite malty with aromas of toffee, marzipan and also herbal grassy hops with the slightest hint of citrus but not much, the mouthfeel is just over light bodied and quite sessionable with tastes of orange rind, mandarin, tangerine, eucalyptus and finished with a distinct herbal grassy bitterness and overall its not bad and alot better than when last tasted i mean the smell doesnt give much away but the taste def makes up for it and its a very sessionable pale that i could drink again cheers.

Pours hazy amber with a fading white head.
Nose shows juicy, fruity hops:tangerine, orange, white grapes, green apples along with plenty of sweet clean malt.
Very similar flavours but with more malt. Quite sweet really.
Too much carbonation. Although that does cut the sweetness somewhat.

Rich biscuity malt aroma with touches of caramel. Good floral hop aroma which is balanced well.
Rich amber colour with a small, creamy white head. Average head retention. Moderately hazy.
Big malt flavour with toffee and biscuit all over it. Clean, crisp moderate bitterness which is suitable but isn't backup by the hop flavour expected in the style. On the whole a good amber ale but probably not the APA it claims to be.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. It actually feels a little fuller than it really is but it's good.
A decent, clean ale with good flavour. To truly be an APA it needs a bit more hop focus but on the whole it suceeds.

A fairly under-rated beer in my book. Not on BA, just in general. While the nose is a little restrained, the mouth-filling bitterness is fantastic and it just hangs on forever. Overall a really well balanced pale ale. Really wishing I bought a 6 pack.

This pours a golden amber with a good head that has pretty good retention. The nose is of some wonderful floral aromas. There is a great crisp bitterness to it which provides a wonderful length. All round this is a very drinkable beer which I would have no probs knocking back for an arvo.

A - Pours into pint glass a dark gold with a few centimetres of head that quickly falls away.
S - Biscuit malty smell with some light floral & herbal notes.
T - Pretty much along the same lines as the smell. Slight bitterness.
M - Medium bodied with a fairly low carbonation.
D - A pretty tasty & balanced sessionable pale ale.
