A: Pours a hazy medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and some faint straw yellow highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy beige head that very slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch finger thick cap surrounded by a thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of pale and grainy malts with a hint of herbal hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of pale malts with a lighter amount of grainy malts and a touch of honey sweetness. Light to moderate flavors of herbal hops in the finish with just a hint of citrus/lemon rind which imparts a light amount of bitterness to the beer but fades pretty quickly.

M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation Smooth with hints of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink and would be great on one of those really hot summer days here in the South. Refreshing and enjoyable but nothing special.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The beer pours a very lightly hazed yellow color with a very small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma of the brew is strongest of a bready and grainy smell mixed with notes of coriander and a decent showing of lemon. Along with these smells comes a bit of grapefruit and a touch of herb and hay.
Taste - The taste starts with a bready and more wheaty in taste mixed with notes of grain and some lemon and coriander. A little bit of grapefruit hop is also present upfront, with it getting slightly stronger as the taste advances. At the same time the lemon is joined by a touch of orange, and the spice gets a bit stronger with some lemon grass and pepper joining in. The mix of flavors takes the flavor profile to the end, and with a touch of hay, it leaves one with a rather refreshing and easy natured summer taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is light with a carbonation level that is higher. The feel is great for the style and easy drinking nature of the brew.
OVerall - A rather nice brew overall. Easy drinking and more refreshing.

This is far and above my favorite summer ale. These guys seem to nail almost anything they make. I am a big fan. I have a personal feeling that their use of stainless stills is how they bring such a consistent crispness to their product.

Hazy golden look, like a summer should look. Subtle on the nose, lots of grapefruit on the toung, dryer finish. Ver clean and drinkable.
