This is intended as a session IPA so I'm not looking for the characteristics of a more potent IPA. This is one of the better session IPA's that I've had, if not the best.
Pours with a decent head that lingers as a 1/4 inch ring with a surprising amount of lacing. Earthy, citrusy hops dominate the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is surprisingly good for a session beer. I could easily have a few of these and thoroughly enjoy them. More dimensional than a lot of other session IPA's I've had the pleasure to try.

Lots of foam from the body.
Earthy bittering hop to the nose.
Darker flavor form the malt than most IPAs. The earthiness is still the strongest component of the overall flavor. Good carbonation with a solid body. "Dirty" aftertaste.

Tastes like hoppy water. Needs body. It's representative of what I don't like about many session IPAs.
