Golden color with a haze. The moderate head settles to rim bubbles. Initial blanketing lace but no lace towards the middle of the tasting.
Strong semisweet caramel aroma. It's likely that there's a strong presence of crystal malt. Good floral hop in the background. Well blended.
The excellent blend extends to the taste. It starts with Soft toasty malt. Light alcohol warmth. The hop is subtle but strong -- it creeps up to the swallow. Very full body with a diminished effervescence. Moderate aftertaste of mostly hop bitterness but the alcohol and savory malt is still present.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of the "IPA" four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had wonderful tropical fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
