On tap at Dunedin on the 5th of July. Served in a standard pint glass. The brew appears a clear golden color with yellow hue around the edges. A white froth of fluffy head sits atop and produces some patchy to webby lace as it recedes.
The smell is vinous with grass and fruits. A light alcohol sting mixes with some herbal hop elements that morph to something more along the lines of rindy tangerine. The nose on this is not super bold but what emits from the glass and very enjoyable and complex.
The taste includes hop character that is herbal and grassy with with an inclusion of white grape juice. The vinous element melds into more mild fruity/floral flavors you typically find from hops. A mild grainy base is evident but doesnt interrupt the nelson from being the star of the show.
This is a medium bodied brew with a light amount of carbonation. Super easy drinking and a fantastic example of letting the nelson hops shine. Really recommended. If we had more time to spare during out visit I would have taken down several pints of this with ease.

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Dunedin Brewery. Poured into a pint glass.
A: Clear orangish amber, with a one finger white head, and a good amount of visible carbonation.
S: Pine and flower hops with a caramel sweet malt background.
T: Follows the nose, but the malty caramel flavors are forward. The hops character present is bittering, spicy and piney.
M: Sticky mouthfeel, maybe a little thick. This finishes a little sweeter than most IPAs, and has an average level of carbonation on the tongue.
O: Not bad...the malt profile is way more forward than one would expect. This is a good single hop IPA but not a great beer. Still, I would suggest trying one to experience the Nelson Sauvin characteristics.

Guest beer at Cigar City.
Pours a hazy orange with a creamy two finger white head that sticks around and leaves big rings of lace.
The aroma is pure citrus. Orange zest and grapefruit with tropical notes and bready background.
Clean malt background, slightly bready with big orange, pineapple, and grapefruit dominating.
Crisp, clean, medium bodied, slightly creamy
Overall, very enjoyable IPA

On tap at the House of Brews, Jensen Beach.
A - Poured out a slightly hazy light orange color with a nice two fingers of fluffy white head with good retention and lacing.
S - Very nice light floral hop aroma. Citrus as well with light grapefruit and orange.
T - Fruit forward and nice. Grapefruit, pineapple and orange all blend well. Certainly some bitterness but really very light. Trace caramel sweetness with some malts.
M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very clean on the palate.
O - Very nice all together. I really enjoyed this one. Real complex tastes and refreshing brew. Balanced and tasty.
