First had: on tap at Dunedin's brewpub

Listed as a pale ale brewed with honey and pumpkin.

Hazy orange-brown pour with a small off-white head that receded to a ringlet and left dots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey and caramel malts, vegetal, some earthy hops. This was definitely not your typical pumpkin pie spice beer. Taste-wise, the pumpkin was rather mellow and subtle, more of a secondary or even tertiary flavor. The honey came out more than anything, balanced out by a twist of citrusy hops, and the vegetal earthiness of the pumpkin. Nothing out of this world, but still refreshingly different from your average pumpkin beer. Medium-bodied and easily drinkable.
