Had this on cask the other day and it was really quite nice. It held a good head and had a pretty much perfect mouthfeel for the style. Going back tomorrow and hope they have some left.
For the 3rd time this wk it was still there on cask. Never have I run into a beer on cask lasting this long unless they had multiple firkins. No drop in quality at all. I would be hard pressed to name a beer of this style I have enjoyed more
3/22/2017 O cask again and as delicious as ever !

Got this off tap after a tour of the brewery. Came to me served in a tulip.
A: Is a opaque brown-black color with a a short mocha colored head. Has small amounts of stickage to it. The beer itself has a thick, oil like consistency to it.
S: Smells of barley, malts, oats, vanilla, honey, brown sugar, cherries, plums, chocolate, toffee
T: Very sweet, tastes of milk chocolate, brown sugars, vanilla, cherries
M: Very rich and sweet. Thick and voluminous, on the sweet side but has many good flavor qualities to it. You would not know that this beer is 10% ABV.
O: Overall, this was great. The name is what sold it to me. And my love of stouts and porters.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Black and a little transparent. Not much of a head.
Smell - Fruity and some chocolate. Caramel malts and a bit of stale oxidation.
Taste - Chocolate. Not a rich chocolate. Again some oxidation. Some fruitiness.
Mouthfeel - Kinda thin. Medium carbonation.
Overall - I'm not impressed. Meh.
