Served on tap at the Boca Raton location into a pint glass.
ABV on this was 5.5% according to the bartender.
A: Pours and opaque, light mahogany with no head, whatsoever. I'm not sure if this was a result of a piss-poor pull or the chemistry of the beer. I did try to swirl things up and with the same results...
S: Lots of malts, a mild dose of hops, nutty, and bananas on the nose. All in character for the style.
T/M: A crisp beer with lots of malty tone and banana. Finishes clean. Light mouth feel, with very low carbonation.
D: Need to pick up the carbonation a bit to add some punch, and a head. I'll try again to see if it was the server's mistake. Other than that, a good representation.
