Draught pint at the brewery in beautiful Coral gables, FL.
Presented gloriously orange gold with a finger of crowning head.
Familiar aroma of Simcoe hops up front, pine and citrus follows.
Love me the taste of a single-hop west coast style IPA. Let the hop shine - and this IPA does. Fresh, refreshing, beautifully bitter, crisp exit that makes the mouth water.
Trim mouthfeel appropriately carbonated.
Overall, a nice no-frills IPA that goes down real easy on a hot Miami afternoon.,. or, as in my experience today, a great compliment to a batch of conch fritters.

Enjoyed on draft at brewery in Coral Gables. Fresh and appropriately bitter. A good example of the style. Not as smooth or succulent as some IPAs but worth a slash!

At the brewery.
Amber color with a thick head with decent retention and leaving laces.
Mild but nice tropical aroma with notes of passion fruit, lychees, caramel and peppermint.
Hoppy flavor with notes of caramel malts, resin, pine needles, grapefruit citrusy and spices. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Standard but well balanced American IPA with nice tropical and piney notes. Simcoe felt very fresh.

Hoppy but still reasonably balanced. Classic Amber color with an initial head which disappears but beautiful lacings remain. Citrusy and very flavorful. Finishes crisp and clean. I've had this beer innumerable times and it has been consistently good ... an underrated IPA. 6.5% abv

if I ever had to sum this beer up in one word, it would be "bitter". very, very, very bitter/Hoppy. In fact, far, far, far, far to bitter for me to tolerate. If I had to guess the IBU's, Id guess it to be in the upper 70-85 IBU rating, far too high for me. I was barley able to warf down my 5 oz glass.

a biased 1.5/5 but your first choice if you cant get enough hoppy flavors. I am never drinking this again.

Sampled on tap at Titanic Brewing Co.

A - Golden with a hazy finish and a small white head. Nice lacing.

S - Floral hops and toasted malt.

T - Starts nice with floral hops and toasted malt. Some yeast kicks in midway through then it finishes with a nice lingering citrusy bitterness.

M - Creamy with a low carbonation.

D - I liked this one more and more as I went on. A very nice FL IPA.

On-tap at the brewpub. Appeared a clear gold with a short white head. In short, there isn't enough malt to balance out the hops here. Maybe it's overattunated, or there just aren't enough specialty malts, but the beer is too thin and the hops become unpleasantly pungent (and I'm a guy that loves hops). The citrus comes off as a too-strong perfume.

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub. Best and most drinkable of their regular lineup. Two notes, though it had the same name, it was listed as 7% instead of 6% and Northwest Simcoe hops (confirmed by the owner) instead of of Cascade. So they may have significantly tweaked this for no reason, or hop availability. Super foamy and good bitterness.

Switched to this one after being cut off because of a one drink limit on the DIPA.

A: Nice orangish hue with a sparse head. Despite the lack of a head it does leave behind pretty nice lacing.

S: Reminds me of the DIPA, just lighter. Hints of sweetness and grapefruit are all I could pick up from the glass.

T: Like in the DIPA the taste is of grapefruits. Nice tasting IPA that is rather refreshing.

M: Nice and sparkling with a dry finish.

D: Very drinkable.

Overall: The IPA and DIPA were both easy drinking brews. They matched perfectly with the hot chickens wings and helped to put out the fire in my mouth and belly. The best part of it all is that if you go during happy hours the house brews are $1 off.

Very satisfying. Clouded orange-amber though not too dense. Served at an ideal temperature with a refined sudsy head of sustained duration and widely dispersed lace. Flavor was heavy on the lemon-citric side with floral elements as well, though there was surprisingly little aroma. A good quaffer.

Another beer that these guys serve a tad warmer than ice-cold which really helps enhance the enjoyment of it.

Amber color without much head- leaves a beautiful complex spider-web type lace on the sides of the glass. The smell and taste are fairly balanced and cedar-like but still plenty hoppy enough to remain true to the IPA style. There are some fruity -citrus elements in the taste. I believe Cascades are the hops they use here. It finishes crisp and dry. A good solid American IPA.
