Arrives a cloudy iced tea color with orange running through it. Light tan head disappears quickly and leaves no lace at all.
Smell is a heady mixture of malt, spices, hops, wheat and a hint of vinegar, I think. Balance is good, let's see how it tastes.
Nice! Malt, spices (clove, pepper), some dark fruit, a hint of wheat. If hefe met dubbel this would be the result. I like it. Heat flavor for the season.
Full bodied, medium effervescence (strong up front), with a very nice lingering spice/malt note. Definitely recommend this one.
