This is a malt and caramel-rich Märzenbier with a pronounced body. A wonderful amber colour, full bodied with sweet caramel notes, soft and mild to drink with a long sweet finish.

Clear golden color with a decent white head that fades hastily leaving almost no lacing. I was expecting a deeper color for a Märzen. The copper that is lacking in color is made up for in the aroma; typical malty Märzen profile, if a bit underwhelming. On the first sip, the thing that immediately comes to mind is sweet bread. As it lingers though, there is a little spiciness to it, which being a German Märzen, makes me think of dark German bread. A nice amount of hop bitterness at the end to complement the maltiness. Well done. Thin body with medium carbonation. Overall, a fair representation of the style (minus the pilsner-like color).

From the bottle, it poured a medium sized head that quickly dissipated to a nice small fringe. Malty and enjoyable, despite the fact that it claims to be Diesel oil...

330ml bottle. Lager glass. Enjoyed on jan´13. Gold in color with crystal clear appearance. White, medium bubbled crown. Retention is pretty good. Noble hops & mildy toasted malts to the nose. Sharp bitterness at first sip rounded by peppery touch eventhough maltiness provides smoothness as well as voluptuous palate. Medium to light body. Medium carbonation. Clean bitter flavor in the middle lingers into a long finish. Malty aftertaste.
