12 ounce bottle into a snifter. 2019 release, had 9/3/20.
Pours near black and opaque, with a quarter inch foamy head and some light, foamy cling. Aromas of bourbon, dark chocolate, char, oak, roasted malt, raisins, some caramel and vanilla, some cocoa, light tobacco. Mostly similar flavors- bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, roasted malt, raisins, some char and tobacco, some brown sugar. There’s a decent amount of bitterness. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
An excellent BBA Stout. Terrific aromas and flavors with the excellent barrel leading the way. Both the Binny’s collaborations were outstanding, let’s do it again.

Pours pitch black, shiny and completely opaque. Beer appears viscous and fudge when poured into the glass. Almost no head whatsoever other than some sporadic bubbles on the top of the beer.
Aroma has notes of oak, bourbon, rich chocolatey fudge, roasted malts, a hint of creme-like sweetness.
Taste follows the nose with lots of oak and bourbon up front. Notes of tobacco, charred malts, burnt wood and bakers chocolate all cascade across the palate. Dark fruit flavors come across albeit without any sweetness.
Feel is thick and viscous nicely balanced with some vivacious carbonation. Super dry finish - it really stands out as you drink it just how dry (almost ashy) the finish is.
Overall this is a damn fine barrel aged imperial stout. I wish this was regular offering from Brickstone, but as it is, it was a pleasure to drink.

Jet black body with a ring of brown bubbles. Smells very strongly of brighter bourbon (maker's mark) with charcoal, wood, bitter chocolate, and slight brown sugar. Taste is smoky bourbon with big charcoal, wood, slight meat, leather, bitter dark chocolate, and bourbon bitters. Medium bodied, which is light considering the super robust flavoring. Smooth, warm, and boozy, a sipper
