Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on October 19, 2019. Fruited double IPA brewed with real Madagascar vanilla and lactose sugar for an extra creamy and smooth body. Juicy notes of fresh fruit.

Violet body with slight lacing. Smell featured the raspberry and blackberry with vanilla and lactose. Taste was somewhat tart and sweet, like sour patch kids candy. Finish cloyed, just didn't like the combo of the berries with the super sweetness, verges on cough syrupy but stops before getting there. Plus the body was thinner for a milkshake ipa which undercut the flavors for me. This being said the wife liked it

Not a bad effort at a milkshake style IPA. Canned date 10/2/19. Pours a surprisingly thin light amber color with a little white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of some fruity hops - berry, melon, orange, lemon - as well as vanilla, malt, bread and faint floral hops. Taste follows the nose, but I was expecting more vanilla creaminess with the addition of lactose to this beer - and it just didn’t happen. Didn’t remind me at all of a milkshake, so that was disappointing. Mild smooth mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Probably would look elsewhere for a creamier IPA.
