Pours ink black, dark tan ring for a head.
Smells of molasses, plum, maple, licorice, cocoa, coffee, oak, and bourbon.
Flavor is very rich. Plum, molasses, fig, and grape up front. Gives way to pecan, caramel, maple, licorice, chocolate, vanilla, and oak. The finish is bourbon and toast.
Full viscous body. Stinging carbonation on the tongue and warmth going down.
A very tasty, memorable, and enjoyable stout. Looks great, smells great, tastes great. Definitely worth trying and hopefully something I will have the chance to try again.
