12oz can (canned 12.01.20) poured into a tulip glass
L: Ruby red grapefruit color, maybe slightly darker. Red raspberry with a very light purple head
S: Berry and vanilla is immediate, although I get more of a blackberry-like aroma than the actual blueberry adjunct. Scent also hints at this being a tart, acidic beer
T: Berry and vanilla heavy on the taste, too. Vanilla and lactose is well-integrated and complements the blueberry very well. Pomegranate could be prominent too, but, uh, I don't really remember how they taste... In any case, the beer is slightly acidic in a way that, again, reminds me more of blackberry than blueberry.
F: Soft and creamy with a lingering light sweetness afterwards. Feels surprisingly light for its ABV
O: A great milkshape IPA that sets up a nice berry showcase. I'm usually not a fan of this style when it is overly sweet and the lactose is considerably in-your-face, but that's not the case here. Perhaps it had a bit of a misleading aroma but very enjoyable taste and feel here.
