Drinking directly at the Brewpub the beer is orange, almost amber with foam a rather low (just over one finger) but very persistent.
Given the creativity of the brewer could also be an Irish Ale. Elsewhere is referred to a Dunkel Bock.
The predominant smell is given by the malt, but a fresh one, with a little biscuit, but also with hoppy notes. Also in the flavour you can find a base of malt with caramel and biscuit, then the bitterness gives by the hops more like German than English style. At the end seems a curious hybrid between a Marzen and a Irish Ale. The aftertaste is very strange: on a bed of malted, the hop stands out clearly, and also fresh aromatic notes can be noted, almost like eucalyptus (!).
At the end we did not understand at all if we like it or not.
