If I were to rate this beer against all of the IPAs available in the world, it would honestly get fairly poor marks. It's fairly watery in the mouth, has absolutely no head – regardless of how vigorously it is poured – and has a slightly soapy character.
However, if I rate this against all other IPAs in Germany (or even all the beer in Berlin!), this beer gets much higher marks; it does, after all, have a slightly citrusy nose, a pleasant though not abundant bitterness, and is, in the end, immensely drinkable. And the sheer joy of drinking an IPA in Berlin, made by Berliners, in a town that is comparatively deprived of interesting beer, on a lovely patio in a quiet part of town, brings my overall impression up a few notches.
If you're in Berlin for any extended period of time, you must try the beer from Brewbaker. Maybe the IPA, maybe not. But they are the city's only creative brewery, and that earns them my highest recommendations!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
