A: Had this on tap at Mackenzie River Pizza in Billings. Poured into standard pint an amber red color, not too much head, very little lace.
S: Smell is of caramel maltiness. Smell is similar to a Maibock. Not sure what kind of yeast was used but almost smells like a lager type beer.
T: Malt is very prevalent, sweet and caramel flavors are abundant. Slight hop aftertaste, very well balanced
M: Smooth, goes down easily.
D: Read a description of this beer and although it didn't say what type of yeast was used ale or lager it reminded me more of a lager style..maybe Oktoberfest or maibock. However it said the beer was called Hodgepodge cause it was brewed with "leftovers" from the brewery including 8 different grains and Glacier hops. I would definatly drink this again, pretty darn good for leftovers.
