Poured a near midnight black with just a slight brown tinge to it. Thick and foamy head that slowly dissolved into nothing. Nose was like oateal bread with some chocolate breaking its way through.
Flavor is spot on for the style and name. Thick and silky texture and flavor. Rich and hearty. Oatmeal fills out the flavor but there are hints of chocolate and toffee. Full mouthfeel. Unfortunately, they served it way too cold for my preference and I ignored myglass for a while to let it warm up. Would definitely order this beer again.
