A - Poured into a pint glass a slightly hazy browny orange colour with an inch of rocky white head that slowly falls away.
S - A floral hop aroma at first along with some yeasty notes.
T - Floral & fruity hops in the taste as well as some slightly sweet caramel maltiness.
M - Light to medium bodied, fairly high carbonation.
D - Not horrible, but nothing to get excited about. Try it if you see it but this is just another so so pale ale in the sea of so many.

Pours a dark amber heading into copper in colour. Massive white head takes a while to settle out.

Yeasty nose with traces of floral hops that open up over time. Also some greener hop notes in there.

Fruiter palate that meets with some slightly sweeter toffee flavours. Some spicy bitterness on the finish.

Well balanced between bitter and sweet it is just lacking a bit in body and complexity.

Not a bad drop, just boring.

This review is based on old tasting notes, so apologies for the lack of detail.

Appearance - 3.5
Copper brown in colour, a bit dark for a pale ale.

Smell - 4.0
Definite bitterness in the smell, alongside a strong toffee aroma.

Taste - 3.5
More of the toffee, some sweetness, bitter hops in the finish.

Mouthfeel - 3.0
Quite flat and smooth, most definitely an English pale ale, although a little too flat for my liking.

Drinkability - 3.0
Perhaps a little too much toffee makes this not particulary easy drinking.

OVERALL - 3.5
This is a decent English pale ale, but lacks the hoppy fruitiness that I seek in these beers. I'd like to try it again, as it was well priced, and quite different to most pale ales I have tried. Quite tasty.
