This one pours a mostly clear/slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like spicy and earthy hops, pungent marijuana, orange rind, punchy grapefruit, and fresh cut grass.
This is one of, if not the best beers I've had from this brewery. The hop character is just wonderful, with a super clean and spicy hop bitterness. The wet hops they used are just awesome. There's no malt character, with some zested oranges and grapefruit, and a bit weediness as well.
This is light bodied, crisp and super clean, despite the big bitterness. It's very drinkable.
I figured I'd like this, but I honestly love it. It's an excellent, excellent IPA.

Meh kinda brew in a can - canned on dating on the side ... 12-6-17...just under a month in the can
Old school ipa look...ie not clouded
Middle of the road in today’s ipa world, resiny hops on the palate ...straightforward...would work in a pinch

Hate to say it....because I've only done it one other time...but this was a DRAIN POUR for me. The beer poured with more than half a glass of foam as the canned date was less than 2 weeks old, so the beer was fresh (which may be the nicest thing I can say about it). With a name like Hop Crop I expected some dankness and citrusy flavors , none of which exist here. I guess drinking an awesome Other Half DIPA before I tasted this set the bar pretty high for me.

L: Copper. Not much head. Dissipates quickly.
S: Caramel, earthy.
T: Follows nose. Earthy, a bit malty. A nice light bitterness at the end. Seems a bit dry.
F: Light body, moderately carbonated.
O: Not very hoppy, but still overall pretty decent.

Pours a dark, clear copper color with a slim head. The smell is heavy on malts with undertones of caramel, and the flavor follows suit. This is a pretty decent IPA, but lacks a bit on hops and citra tones. A decent beer, overall.

Canned on 8/30/16; consumed on 9/2/16, making this about as fresh as you can get it.
A: Poured from the can into a Duvel tulip. Body is clear golden-copper with a big-bubbled, small white head on top.
S: Surprisingly, malt is noted more than the hops. Nose is muted overall, again, another surprise. Touch of earthy hops is noted, however, along with something that seems a little "off."
T: Not bad, though nothing special, that's for sure (the guy at the beverage center likened this to Ithaca Flower Power, which is very much wishful thinking). Fruity caramel malt foundation is followed by a fairly one-dimensional hop bitterness. Green stuff comes to mind - grass or pine - and it lingers as a palate-coating dry bitterness.
M: Call it medium in heft, carbonation is virtually non-existent.
O: Meh. Guy at the beer store talked me into this, selling the fact that it's just a couple days old. Given my history with Chatham, I was skeptical. I should've gone with my gut and spent my $ elsewhere. It's not bad, but at the price point, I would've been much happier with any number of IPAs.
