On tap at O'Slattery's in Delmar, NY. This is their house beer.
This one pours a darkish red, with brown tints, with a small white head and lots of lacing.
This smells like bready malt, slight bitter hops and caramel.
This is a fairly prototypical Irish Red. It's got a nice deep maltiness, very toasty with a bit of caramel. There's a very slight hop bitterness that accentuates the malt character well.
This is medium bodied and pretty creamy, with a good level of carbonation.
This is very good for a house beer. I would order it again.
