Clear dark amber pour with a cream colored cap. Smell and taste are the same: amber malts with some earthiness, rustic bread, and moderate hop bitters on the finish, but there is a big bloated macro note in the middle of it all. This bloated nature is felt too, heavy and big feel for style. Instead of being drinkable or smooth it is a chewy chore. Not the amber for me
