On draft at Dive Bar, NYC.
Poured a murky deep amber hue with a two finger frothy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a light caramel sweetness and a grassy hop.
The taste was upfront bready and slightly sweet with a touch of cocoa and a slight sourness.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall avdecent ale. Certainly not Chatham's best work.

On tap at the various Dive Bar locations on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. I think you can only get it there, but they do growler fills.
Poured from the tap into a pils glass.
A: Pours a deep, murky copper. You can't see through this one at all. I happen to like my beers hazy, so to me, it's beautiful. Carries a one finger foamy off-white head that retains nicely.
S: Very malty. Picking up biscuit, pear and a faint hit of chocolate. There's also a small but assertive floral hop presence.
T: Very British. It's a smooth mixture of sweet malt and floral hops. The malts come first, with the same bready and fruity combination from the scent, and the hops follow, but blend in very nicely. It's all very mild and pleasant. I sort of wish the beer had more of a kick one way or the other, but I suppose that's not the intention, so I won't hold it against them.
M/D: The mouthfeel is a bit too watery, with medium carbonation. The British style is not my favorite, but there's no denying that this is a easy and pleasant drinking beer. I wouldn't go to Dive Bar specifically to drink it, but I'd gladly order one if I were there already.
