Had an imperial pint at Jimmy's No. 43 for $7. I was hoping for something with a little hop character, but this was just your typical malty blonde. It's clean and drinkable, with a dry toasty bread, biscuit barley, and a touch of malt sweetness. It wasn't a bad session beer (though a little alcoholic for that), but it's a bit plain overall.

A: Poured from the growler into a pint glass. Body is light golden-yellow with a small white head that disappears fast.
S: Faint in the nose - some florally hops over cereal grains.
T: Some bready malt, coriander, light citrus zest and some fruitiness. Finishes with a bit of sweetness and some florally hops.
M: Carbonation is modest, makes it feel a tad bit slick. Heft is fairly light.
O: A good quaffer. Inoffensive, with a decent amount of flavor for a lighter ale.

Chatham blondeĀ
Appearance slightly more orange than macro thin white head completely clear
Smell faint hops, orange, a bit of coriander.
Taste immediate moderate hop bitterness with orange and lemon showing through and some sweet malt present throughout
Mouthfeel very fine carbonation, watery and light
Drinkablilty I'd have a few pints but meh.

On draft at Dive Bar, NYC.
Poured a dark straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a musty grassy hop and lmoderate grainy malt.
The flavor was likewise grainy and musty with a lingering flowery hop. Light sweetness at the finish.
The mouthfeel was light with moderate carbonation.
Overall a tasty and refreshing ale. Sessionable for sure.
