On cask at Mahars public bar, Albany, NY. Great overall, very complex malt, very light mouthfeel, head impossibly light and white in contrast to the dark body. Taste full of black currants, very little toast of nut to this brown. Darker than other beers with similar taste. I enjoyed the heck out of this one.

On draft at Dive Bar, NYC.
Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and sticky lacing.
The smell featured a soft cocoa and light grain.
The taste featured a light burnt grain with some cocoa and a bot of caramel.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a tasty and well made brown ale.
