Reddish-brown with perhaps some coppery undertones. Smallish beige head with some good lacing.
Sweet caramel and some nice cherry smoke.
Pretty easy drinking with light body that tends toward creamy side.
Chocolatey malt, very little caramel character. Slight phenolic quality and pleasant amount of mossy peat pokes thru. Fruity, cherry bark rounds out the flavor nicely.

On draft at Dive Bar, NYC.
Poured a deep amber hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured soft caramel malts, some smoke and a grassy hop.
The taste consisted of sweet malts, earthy smoke and a cleansing grassy hop. The malts finished clean.
The mouthfeel was toward the lighter side of the style.
Overall a tasty and well made ale. Well balanced.
