L: Pours a brilliant orange red color with a medium tan head and a bit of lacing on the glass.
S: Earthy and nutty, a nice malt presence. With a bit of hop to balance it out. I think the nitro blunts the aroma a bit
T: Malty and sweet, some hops but I feel like the nitro blunts this beer
F: Creamy and smooth, from the nitro seems a bit watery.
O: There is a great beer beneath this but I think they made a mistake by serving it nitro.

In an era of over the top high ABV beers this was a nice treat. The beer had a wonderful deep red color and a think 1/2 inch head. The smell was average, but I don't expect much from an Irish Red Ale. The taste was even, full-bodied and the right mixture of malts. I had it with a turkey sandwich and the two went well together.
After a nice day on the golf course it was great to have a refreshing beer that didn't get me loopy (and not to go lager). I could have a great time watching some games and enjoying this flavorful, but session-like beer.
