Just added this beer to this Next Glass owned database. Beer was consumed February 2023 at the dipa festival to give you an idea about traffic these days. Counting Crows, Round Here. But not all heroes review beers, some just add to the database, and yet, here we are, April 2024, writing this one on up.
Pours golden. Makes 2/5" white head. Nectaron hops doing good fuzzy stone fruit and citrus things in the nose. Chinook and Spruce results in pine and spruce forest feels.
The taste imparts much of the same, you get this nectarine, peach and tree vibe throughout. Relatively brisk light pilsner mouthfeel amplified by the Chinook bittering hop. Hides the alcohol pretty well. I'd guess there was about a 75 ibu level to this one. There is mention of three different tropical fruits, but I got way more stone fruit than tropical out of this beer. Its a pretty good one, I'd like to try it over some lunch at the source next time I roll through.
