Appearance: Pours a clear, dark mahogany-hued body with a thin, bubbly head.
Smell: Altogether weak, mild nose smelling only of a roasty nut character.
Taste: The malts exhibit a roasted nut taste with only a faint amount of sweetness. Hmm, not too much in the way of hops either beyond a tiny, tiny bit of bitterness. Finishes dry and bordering on out-and-out watery. There's really just not that much to it at all, unfortunately.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Rather lacking, even for a brown, but, as this is a new brew from a new brewery, perhaps in a year or two's time they'll be blowing my mind with a hellstorm of awesomeness.

From a brown 12oz bottle - Pours a clear brown color with a slight head and very low carbonation. Smells of roasted malts and nuts. First sip is sweet, not very hoppy but a pleasant balance. Some nutty flavor notes present. Finishes just slightly bitter Decent mouthfeel but very under carbonated. Pretty nice brown ale.

Found a sixpack of this one at Chuck's Liquor Store in Bowling Green and the beer guy there said it was brewed about six weeks ago. Pours a crystal clear mahogany body with an attractive beige head that retains well and leaves some sheets of lacing on the glass.
Aroma opens with a green apple note that seems out of place for style. Baked bread aromas come to the rescue, joined by a faint whiff of chocolate.
Body is light medium and on the thin side, with a medium carbonation.
Taste is about average for style, with subdued hopping and a dominant maltiness. Hints of chocolate and some toasted malt join with some Coca Cola flavors. Finishes with a touch of grassy hop bitterness.
Not a bad effort from this fledgling western Kentucky brewery. Good to see they're not trying to market their potables exclusively in growlers any longer.

Newer brewery's third beer production (at this point they brew one style at a time). This effort is not as good as the last (a nicely hopped pale ale), but better than the first (a too tart hefeweizen under a different brewmaster). Malty and very mild, with a bit too much sweetness and wavering toward the thin side of mouthfeel. Finish was clean. Closest commercial comparison would be Newcastle. Not bad, but I don't see this moving too well in the local market.
