Swingtop bottle at the top of Gurten, Bern. Poured out a crystal, clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of caramel, toasted bread and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with toffee and a mild bitterness.

Another single from Drinks of the World, poured from a swing-top.
The body is a clear gold without much head retention, but there's still a bit of lacing while the head lasts. There's a faint hint of hops in the aroma, but for the most part I'm picking up nothing. Alas. The flavor begins with very light but sweet malts and then builds with a slightly citrus hops flavor that grows into a herbal bitter aftertaste. Nothing special here, but still a decent helles lager with a bit of hops flavor.
