Had on tap. Clear golden body with a finger of white foam, sporadic lacing. Lemon hops with mild lager malts in the simpler nose. Tate adds considerable paleness, but not bitter on the finish, some very mild bread in the yeast, much more so grainy. Feel is light, crisp, thin but never breaks down, wetter for a lager.

Picked up a single in the Bern trainstation. The brewery says its "nicht pasteurisiert," which is good, but then it's in a green bottle. Alas.
The appearance is a clear gold with zero head retention - pretty normal for the Euro pale lager style. The aroma is typical light lager tang. The flavor is surprisingly complex (for the style) with dry, mineral undertones to the light malt flavor. The beer also finishes with a respectable bitterness that more resembles a pilsner. Good on ya Felsenau for making a decent lager.
