Kulhuse 29/9 2018. 50 cl bottle shared at my inlaws. Light blue version of Skagens Bryghus’ usual design.
Pours clear, dark, amber with small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving only meagre remnants behind. No lacing. Aroma is sweet, alcoholic and intense. Caramel, brown sugar and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily and soft texture.
Flavor is intensely sweet followed by moderate bitterness. Light boozy burn. Aftertaste is quite sweet with lighter bitter notes. Lingering.
Decent Danish take on a Doppel Bock with a lot of malts and alcohol.
