Copenhagen 6/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Usual Skagen Bryghus design in red and with declarations that this beer should be poured with love.
Pours (lovingly) hazy amber with a yellowish head. Settles as a very thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite bitter and sour. A lot of lemon, citrus and grapefruit. A little fermented fruit in the background.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor is distinctly bitter with only a subdued sweetness. Bitterness is lingering in the aftertaste.
I wouldn’t say I actually love this brew - but I do like it.

April 2011: 500 ml bottle, thanks to my beerpal Olav, as Skagen Bryghus Gl. Skagen India Pale Ale. ABV is 6.0%. Orange colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of fruity and floral American hops. Sweetish flavour with hints of camphor, oranges and resin. Bitter finish.
