December 2008: 500 ml bottle, thanks to yngwie. ABV is 5.0%. Golden to orange colour, big white head with an orangey hue. Cloudy with floaties when the sediment is poured in the end. The aroma has malts, honey, baby porridge and over-boiled vegetables. The flavour has a substantial malty sweetness, possibly sweeter than any other pilsener I have had, with notes of honey and some fruit. Soapy finish, moderate Tettnanger hops in the aftertaste.

Copenhagen 20/5 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Yellow label in Skagen's usual design with their pretty cool logo with the white star on a deep red background.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a fruity, sourish scent. Sweet pale malts with hints of caramel. A bit of citrus and a dry vibe.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a. it. Finish is rather dry.
A quite decent pilsner.

Sitting at a restaurant/pub in Skagen, Denmark, and asked for a recommendation for a good local beer. Waiter recommended Drachmann. Nice German-style Pilsener. Not very hoppy, which is to my liking, but has a full malt flavor. Slightly cloudy appearance.
