Copenhagen 30/3 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Light brown Viking-inspired label in Skagen Brewery's usual design.
Pours opaque hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish odor of wheat malts, lemonade and citric notes. Perfumed, sweet malts. Orange lemonade. White sugar. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a lighter citric sourness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Solid and fairly intense Wheat beer.
