Copenhagen 19/11 2020. 50 cl bottle from Skagen Bryghus. Skagen’s usual label design in red in a simplified version and a music node.
Pours hazy, murky orange with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet and malty odor mingling with light citric notes. Sweet pale malts. Citrus and lemon. Tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the sweet and malty side for a NEIPA.
