Rye bread beer that goes perfectly with Danish sandwiches. Brewed with rye malt and barley malt. Aroma/taste of freshly baked rye bread and medium bitterness.

Copenhagen 20/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Skagen Bryghus bottle shop. Light blue version of Skagen’s usual design with the 16 pronged star with red background.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish, spicy odor and a light fruity whiff. Sweet malts, rye bread. Ripe apples.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit.
A bit mellow and malty rye beer which mostly succeeds by the nose.
