Light reddish-golden beer with 2.6% alcohol. Only 0.86 units per ½ liter of beer. The type is Classic Pilsner with Czech Saaz hops. Aroma of freshly cut hay and bitter fresh taste. Skagen 11/10 2020. 50 cl from draft at brewpub at Skagen Bryghus.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor. A bit of caramel. Cardboard and Sour grains. Hints of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a fairly strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste bitter and slightly harsh. Lingers for a bit. Sour, dry finish.
The good news is that this low alcohol beer has a decent intensity. The bad news is that the intensity applies to a less than pleasant aroma and flavor.
