A light golden and traditional Danish beer. Tastes fresh and lively while also balancing well between bitterness and light sweetness. An easy-drinking beer that quenches thirst well.

Copenhagen 30/7 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Doggerbanke, Skagen. Dark green version Skagen's usual design with their elegant star with many prongs on a dark red background.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith a sweet, malty odor with only a light touch of sourish grains. Sweet pale malts, bread, corn, cardboard and cereal.
Rather strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not exactly awe-inspiring fora beer named after probably the greatest painter from Skagen.
