Dark bock beer, with a heavy malty flavor and always ready to fight, like a Viking. You will go berserk with this beer.
Lovely aroma of malt and battlefield.

Copenhagen 18/8 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Doggerbanke, Skagen. Wood-colored label in Skagen Bryghus’ usual design. Some Norse symbols etched in the wood.
Pours unclear dark amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty and a bit sugared odor with sourish notes. Toffee, caramel and a bit of brown sugar whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Overall decent Dunkel Bock. Could use a bit more punch.
