Copenhagen 1/1 2026. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A bewildered electrician with all of gadgets on the label.
Pours opaque murky mahogany with a red hue. Mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor with a light smoky touch. Caramel and licorice. Cardboard.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry
Quite sweet and not very smoky.
