Copenhagen 2/12 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. The usual Skagen design in red and yellow with the characteristic 16 pronged star.
Pours clear amber with a red hue and a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam sailing aimlessly around. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet, sugary and lightly roasted. Sherry, brown sugar, licorice and light sour notes.
Low carbonation and thick oily palate.
Flavor is strongly sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Bittersweet aftertaste.
If you are into quite sweet beer with a little bite this will fit the bill.
