A good old-fashioned gold beer, brewed in collaboration with the famous artist, musician and actor Leif Sylvester. Leif is known for the song "Mormors Kolonihavehus", the films "Midt Om Natten", "Tarzan Mama Mia" and the TV series "Taxa". The beer was called Sylvester Guld at the time.

Copenhagen 12/8 2016. 50 cl bottle brought home from a plant shop (!) by my girlfriend. As"Sylvester Guld". Pretty strange label with a painting of what looks like a psychotic lady.
Pours almost clear yellow with a white head. Settles as a paper thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fruity and tart and a little bit sour. A whiff of alcohol peeking in. Slightly metallic.
Strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a pronounced sharp bitterness. Bitter/sour aftertaste. A little boozy. A bit sharp, sour and alcoholic.
Not a favorite despite I like Leif Sylvester.
