Copenhagen 23/11 2016. 50 cl bottle form SuperBrugsen. Another brew from Skagen Brewery named after a one of the Skagen painters. Good Tourist stunt. Label in the brewery usual design in a dark purple version.
Pours dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam drifting aimlessly around. No lacing
Aroma is prominent and of dark chocolate, cocoa, brown sugar and dark roasted malts. More bitter than sweet.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly sweet. Heavy sweetness followed by a very light bitterness. Aftertaste is short and sweet.
A bit too sweet for my taste buds.
