First pours a clear pale yellow colour with a pretty white head.
When I shake the remaining yeast into the glass the brew turns a little darker but more importantly very hazy.
Smell is very mild with only hints of apples.
The beer is almost still, perhaps more carbonation would have brought out more flavours. As it is I have a hard time putting my finger on whate taste actually is there, perhaps some banana and a few malty tones.
No bitterness at all.

Ingrediens: Spelt, barley malt, spelt malt, rye, coriander, hops and salt.
According to the label, this is an attempt to create a replica of the beers brewed at the Danish court in the mid-16th century.
The colour is pale yellow-orange; the liquid is almost clear (the beer is unfiltered). The small white head disappears quickly without leaving any lacing.
The smell is sour-sweet with distinct notes of wheat beer. There are some fruity-spicy bitter notes and hint of wheat flour, too. I felt some chemical-medical notes that werent very pleasant.
The taste is rather simple and mild: Some mild wheat-sourness, some bitter spicy (coriander, cinnamon, cloves) hints mixed with dough and yeast. The aftertaste brings more of yeast and a bitter-sour flavour and a hint of alcohol.
The carbonation is strong; the liquid just a little thicker than watery.
I dont know if the royals at the Danish court drank some simple and mild Witbier 450 years ago, but i doubt it.
