Copenhagen 11/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Blue version of the Fanø series with corn hops, an anchor and a couple of seahorses.
Pours hazy golden amber with small white head. Settles as thin 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Considerable lacing on the side of the glass.
Quite strong aroma. Exotic fruit, fermentation and strong citric notes. Impressive when I take the modest ABV into account.
Soft carbonation and thin and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by pronounced bitterness.
Sums up the concept of a Session IPA nicely. A little thin palate, but nicely bitter and drinkable.
